Please congratulate members of our Women's Golf Team on an excellent season! They continued to be a dominant force in the conference as they repeated with another third place finish overall in the Cap-8 for the season. The program is under the direction of Head Coach, Roxanne Hicklin. This is Coach Hicklin's second season at the helm of our Women's Program and she still serves as our Men's Coach.
A huge congratulations to Lily James who finished third individually, with an overall scoring average of 39.57 and Brianna Bulgarino who finished sixth individually, with an overall scoring average of 40.57. The Cap-8 Conference is a very tough and competitive conference in golf. Lily and Brianna both made the First Team All-Conference Team and will compete in the Regional Tournament at Chapel Hill Country Club on Monday, October 20th.
Note: An updated, Wake County Approved Sports Physical must be on file with Enloe Athletic Trainer, Marc Mooney prior to attending and/or participating in tryouts in the Spring. The mandatory forms can be obtained on this website.
The Gfeller-Waller Concussion Awareness Act was drafted and implemented to protect the safety of student-athletes in North Carolina and was signed into law on June 16, 2011 by Governor Beverly Purdue. There are three major areas of focus in the law and these include: education, emergency action and postconcussion protocol implementation, and clearance/return to play or practice following concussion. A copy of the Gfeller-Waller Concussion Awareness Act is available under the links and forms and information sections of this website. There are forms that must be signed by both parent and student athlete in order to participate.
